Northern VA is pleased to be hosting the 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Convention of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) in the Americas.

The AGM seeks to bring together all Nigerians in North and South America, including invited guests and dignitaries from Nigeria, and from NIDO sister organizations in Africa, Asia, and Europe; as well as Friends of Nigeria.

​

This year's event is packed with varieties of activities and panel discussions on important topics relevant to diaspora Nigerians, as well as the Gala Dinner /Dance where awards will be given to image making diaspora Nigerians who have made a difference.

​

The theme for the 2018 AGM is:  Contributions of Diaspora Nigerians to the American Fabric -- highlighting our vitality and participation in the American economy.

​

Proceeds from fund-raising will benefit victims of domestic violence in the USA and orphanages in Nigeria.  All corporate sponsors and individual supporters are welcome - no amount is too small a gift !!
